Aspen Waddell attends Dixie State University in St George Utah and is beginning her third year in college. She has been dancing for 17 years in all styles of dance, jazz being her favorite! She was a member of the Dance Connection Too Dance Company the duration of her training. Yes, her mom sent her to their “sister” studio to alleviate the “dance teacher daughter” drama lol!
Aspen danced competitively for 12 years attending conventions and studying with high profile instructors such as; Ray Leeper, Travis Wall, Mark Meismer, Justin Giles & John Crutchman just to name a few. She grew as a dancer training with her “home” teachers Tally Nikolaus and Chelsea Foster whom instilled hard work, determination & team work along with guiding her to become an amazing young adult. After graduating High school she auditioned for the Dixie State dance team and was part of that for two years along with teaching part time at a local dance studio.
Most recent, Aspen has joined NRG dance project for the upcoming 2014-15 season and will be touring with them. She also guest teaches and choreographs at her mom’s studio when ever she has availability. Aspen is a fun, high energy, inspiring and motivating teacher! She follows in her mom’s footsteps as she truly enjoys the “little ones”. She has a special knack with her bubbly personality to motivate and encourage any dancer at any level.
We feel fortunate when we are able to have Aspen here for our summer camps and outside choreography.
