Erica Marr

Erica is a Professional 9-dance competitor. While living in New York City, she has received training from 4-time Professional World Rhythm Champions, Joanna Zacharewicz and Jose DeCamps, as well as many highly esteemed ballroom world champions, such as Toni Redpath and Nadia Eftadel. She has 20 years of prestigious training in Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Tap, and Ballroom. A few of her awards include Pro/Am Rhythm World Champion in ballroom, United States Rhythm National Champion, New York City Dance Alliance National Senior Outstanding Dance of the Year, NYCDA National Junior Outstanding Dancer of the Year, West Coast Dance Explosion National Junior Dancer of the Year, and La Dance Magic National Teen and Junior Performer of the Year. She has attained her Associate of Arts while attending schools Chapman University and the University of Arizona. She is trained in American Rhythm, American Smooth, and International Latin. She has 10 years of experience being a company teacher and choreographer. She is also a faculty member of One Rhythm Dance Convention. Because of the growing popularity of ballroom, she has enjoyed expanding student’s versatility and knowledge of ballroom technique and styling. She loves to push students to their fullest potential and see them fulfill their dreams.
